1986 -Inception as a society
1988- Started mid winter Waterfowl census
1990-Campaign to save Lingambudhi Lake
1992 -Expanded the study area of Waterfowl Census
1995- Initiated project Pelican at Kokkare Bellur
1996- Staretd Hejjarle Balaga a local conservation group to carry out pelican conservation activities locally
1997- Documentary on pelican conservation
1999 -Initiated environment education programs in schools in partnership with WWF -India
2000-Environment education programs spread out to Mangalore and Sulia
2002- Status study of Cyca circinalis at Melkote
2005 -Collaboration with Agumbe Rainfall Research Station to promote conservation education to save Rain forests and King Cobra.
Pelican Conservation at Kokkare Bellur
Conservation of spot billed pelican (Pelicanus philippensis) at Kokkare Bellur with people's participation is on since a decade.As a result of this unique experiment the dwindling population of pelicans have comeback in three folds.
Cycas Circinalis Conservation at Melkote
Cycas Circinalis, a magnificent tree of the dynosaur era has its last foothold in Narayandurga state forest near Melkote. MAN is interacting with the locals and campaigning against indiscriminate lopping of their leaves to meet the ever growing demand of urban florist market.
